Chris has been taking photographs for over 30 years, initially just for fun but more recently on a semi professional basis. Chris’ inspiration came from a student teacher who introduced him to macro, landscape and urban photography whilst he was still at school. He still loves to work with coastal scenery, landscapes, architecture, motor sport and wildlife and also regularly shoots at air displays, historical re-enactements and preserved railways. Chris’ real passion though is for portraiture. His aim is to create images that enhance the natural beauty of the people that he works with in an artistic, atmospheric style that reflects the mood that they (and he) want to capture. Chris is increasingly being asked to undertake glamour shoots for both amateur and professional models wishing to develop their portfolios and loves to create images that are romantic and sensual in style. He also has experience of wedding photography, mainly with stills but increasingly using video. He particularly likes working outdoors, using natural light wherever possible, but is also adept with studio lighting techniques.
Chris is very easy to get on with and likes to work as a team, using the creative input of the subjects themselves and of people who commission him. He has good references and is also CRB checked.
